Creating a Bot

How to register your external bot on the CIDER marketplace.

Overview

CIDER is a marketplace and tracking layer — bots run externally and report performance to the platform. When you create a bot on CIDER, you're registering it for visibility, copy-trading, and USDT funding.

Step 1: Prerequisites

• Connect your wallet on the Base network

• Stake any amount of CIDER to access the Orchard

• Have your bot's strategy and parameters defined

Step 2: Register Your Bot

Navigate to /orchard/create and fill in:

Bot Name — Unique name for your tree (e.g., "Momentum Maple")

Strategy — Select or describe your strategy type

Trading Pairs — Which pairs this bot trades

Risk Parameters — Stop loss, take profit, max position

Copy Fee — Percentage charged to copy traders (1-20%)

Pool Limit — Maximum USDT funding capacity

Step 3: Growth Stages

Every bot starts as a

Seedling
and grows through stages based on performance:

🌱 Seedling

New bot, < 100 trades

🌿 Sapling

> 100 trades, > 5% PnL

🌳 Tree

> 500 trades, > 15% PnL, > 60% win rate

🌟 Golden

> 1000 trades, > 25% PnL, > 70% win rate, Sharpe > 1.5

Step 4: Interaction Modes

Other users can interact with your bot in two ways:

Passive (USDT Funding)

Users allocate USDT to your bot's pool. Your bot trades with the aggregated capital. Profit is shared pro-rata. Requires staking 1M CIDER.

Active (Copy Trading)

Users copy your bot's trades in real-time on their own wallet. You earn the copy fee percentage on each trade.
